Alexander Nanau), or Czech Heaven Hell by David Calek, which held its international premiere at SXSW – South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. HBO Czech Republic, who has enered the documentary film production in recent years, is now one of the key local players in the film business next to the Czech TV, traditionally the biggest documentary film producer in the country. The first HBO call for new projects in 2008, which resulted in several feature-length documentary films, already met with huge interest of the Czech and Slovak documentary filmmakers and this tendency appeared also in 2011.

The jury will selected by the best project in October. The members of teh jury are: Kamil Fila, film critic; Helena Zajicova, former programme director of One World documentary film festival in Prague, currently programme coordinator of MIDPOINT: Central European Script Center; Jan Burian, writer and musician; Martina Santava, HBO Czech Republic and Anna Kaslova, East Silver Market.
