East Silver Market presented 248 new documentary films from Central and Eastern Europe produced in 2010/2011 (selected from more than 660 submitted films). Additional 87 films from the programme of 15th Jihlava IDFF were included as well.
The market was visited by 182 accredited industry professional ranging from sales agents, distributors, festival representatives, TV buyers, as well as Eastern European filmmakers. Selected film professionals are granted with the access to the East Silver Streaming, the online platform, which offers all East Silver Market films accessible during the year. The industry guests screened the films 3585times and requested 375 screeners from the producers in total.

Silver Eye Award 2011
As we informed earlier, the annual Silver Eye Award for the best documentary film of the market was awarded for its third time. For the first time this year, the winning films will be included in the online database of the unique industry VoD portal Festival Scope, which is designed directly for the festival selectors only, in order to increase their potential for the international distribution.
